- Prepare detailed diagnostic reports documenting findings and recommendations for referring physicians
- Consult with referring physicians and healthcare teams to recommend appropriate imaging examinations based on patient symptoms and clinical history
- Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, catheter insertions, drainages, angiography, angioplasty, and stent placements

- Supervise and direct radiologic technologists and other radiology staff in performing imaging examinations

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a one-year medical internship in general medicine and surgery
- Completion of a 4-5 year radiology residency program
- Passing scores on all three parts of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or equivalent
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
- Valid state medical license to practice medicine
- Expert knowledge of human anatomy, pathology, and physiology
- Proficiency in interpreting images from all major imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET, and nuclear medicine
