- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using requisitions, order sheets, pick tickets, or handheld scanners
- Verify correct items and quantities are selected by inspecting products and checking against order information
- Inspect merchandise and containers for damage or defects before packing
- Place and arrange items in containers, bins, and boxes following specific packing instructions
- Pack and label orders according to company standards and shipping requirements
- Seal and tag containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets
- Arrange containers on pallets and secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, or strapping
- Move completed orders to shipping or dispatch area for loading
