Responsibilities
- Review patients' medical history and referrals or notes from doctors, surgeons, or other healthcare workers
- Diagnose patients' functions and movements by observing them stand or walk and by listening to their concerns
- Develop individualized plans of care for patients, outlining the patients' goals and the expected outcomes
- Use exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them increase their mobility

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program
- Valid state Physical Therapist license
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, and neuroscience
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment programs and motivate patients
- Compassion and empathy for patients dealing with pain and physical dysfunction
