Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a related payroll role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations at federal, state, and local levels
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar platforms
  • Deep understanding of payroll laws, tax withholding requirements, and compliance standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing and data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and management
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with integrity
