Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in operations management or a related leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and financial information
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in budget development and oversight
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control
  • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of business productivity software and operations management tools

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in operations management or MBA
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management
  • Working knowledge of management software programs including NetSuite, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of supply chain dynamics and process automation
  • Lean Six Sigma or Total Quality Management (TQM) certification
  • Project management certification (PMP) or similar credentials
  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques with a history of successful implementation
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or production management
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language
  • Track record of achieving measurable results in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with multi-site or regional operations management
