Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in facility management, building maintenance, or related operations
  • Proven supervisory and leadership experience managing facility staff and coordinating teams
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with facility management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Budget management and financial planning capabilities
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facility locations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform labor-intensive tasks as needed
