  • Store clean dishes, glasses, utensils, and equipment properly in designated areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors
  • Empty trash receptacles, remove garbage regularly, and clean trash cans throughout the shift
  • Clean and sanitize storage areas, including freezers, refrigerators, and dry storage shelves
  • Monitor dishwashing supplies and cleaning chemicals, notifying supervisors when inventory is low
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and portioning ingredients
  • Support kitchen staff with basic prep work and other duties during peak hours
  • Check and maintain dishwashing machines and equipment, reporting malfunctions immediately
  • Assist with receiving and storing kitchen deliveries and supplies
  • Reset dining areas by ensuring clean plates and utensils are available for service staff
  • Assist with closing duties, including sanitizing cooking and food preparation stations
